NAACS 2013

At the NAACS event near Astoria in 2013 we held a leatherwork workshop for the scouts.
The scouts had over 75 samples of various animal skins & hides to handle and learned about various items made from leather & animals.
We made leather pouches with stamped nametags decorated with animal hides (muskrat, skunk, beaver, bison, hippo & rattlesnake).  The scouts completed several requirements for the leatherwork merit badge.
